Come winters, and the heart and tongue crave some piping hot biryani and melt-in-the-mouth kebabs!
In my city, maximum restaurants offer the standard Kolkata biryani that has one piece meat, a boiled egg and a boiled piece of potato. Now, having savoured Lucknowi, Hyderabadi and Kerala style biryani, I am not a fan of this poor substitute.
So, after searching a bit, zeroed on this cosy eatery in EM Bypass that serves variety of lip-smacking biryani and kebabs at very reasonable rates.

My favourite would be the Hyderabadi Boneless Chicken Biryani combo, that came with a side of a lachcha paratha, chicken reshmi masala (3 pieces), salad and raita. It's absolute value for money at INR 350! Sufficient for two people.
Very strangely, Lucknowi chicken biryani is missing from their menu! Beats me why? Kolkata mutton biryani combo with a side of bhuna ghosht and paratha, raita, is good, though.
The chicken reshmi kebab is nothing extraordinary, though the ajwaini Mahi Tikka with fresh bhetki fish was succulent and delicious.
Drinks are the usual fresh lime soda, chhas, soda shikanji etc.
The ambience is good, has a fun canteen- like vibe, with quirky art on the walls. Service can be better, though.
Ps: Was so ravenous, forgot to click pics! So, sharing screenshots from their Zomato page!
