Thought up this recipe for my daughter's birthday lunch. It's a variation on the chicken pakoda recipe and fairly easy tp make, provided you have panko crumbs at home.
Panko crumbs coated chicken cheese nuggets
Ingredients
Boneless chicken, 150 gms.
Garlic paste, 1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon each
Soya sauce, 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon
Egg white- 1
Maida or white flour, 1 tablespoon
Marinated boneless chicken |
Coat the chicken cubes with the above and keep aside for an hour or more.
Process for frying
For the coating
Panko crumbs, 1 cup
Cheese cube -1 (grated)
Salt to sprinkle, 1/4 teaspoon
Oregano and chilli flakes, 1/2 teaspoon each
Medium for frying
Sunflower or rice bran oil - 1/3 cup
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Coat the chicken cubes with the coating mixture thoroughly, and fry on medium flame till they turn golden brown on both sides. Drain and remove on a paper napkin.

Serve with tomato ketchup.
